Cost effective VPN for 2019

What VPN do you guys use? I see google is blocking sites now. I want to bypass that. Also will help making purchases on Amazon's "not available in your country bullshit"

I use Windscribe also but I have a problem and wonder if you noticed anything.
When I had ADSL, this VPN was absolute magic and only reduced my speed about 20%
When I switched over to LTE, Windscribe reduces my speed by 95%, hell this sucks.

I use NordVPN. They are very good and the servers are highly reliable. Been with them for about a year, and haven't had a problem. They recently stopped supporting L2TP due to security reasons, therefore if you are going to run the VPN through your router make sure you get a router that supports OpenVPN. Haven't found a viable router yet. Their prices are good, I paid $90 last year for 3 years of service. I see their prices have increased though but I still feel its worth it.

No works great on my Rain mobile watching Youtube premium and CBC in Canada. Cell C is a different story but I have terrible reception anyway.

Been using NordVPN since 2016 and had no issues with them so far. It works well. Use it on my computer and my cellphone. Works fine with geoblocking. I haven't tested Netflix though, so not sure if that works.

I just use a smartdns proxy.

I have IP vanish but they used to buffer like anything and slow the whole network down. I just find DNS proxy works well.

I'm with vox and ip keeps changing, is there a tutorial on how to Auto update the ip with Smartdns?

I can only find for DD-WRT?

Have used windscribe for quite some time. Pretty good. No problems with it in Beijing last week and the great China firewall. Unfortunately didn't work in Pyongyang, North Korea but that was more because there is no net access there!

Hmm, Windscribe not working in Tibet. The Chinese seemed to have nailed these region a lot more tightly shut than the rest of China. Maybe not .. It just seems the hotels have specifically track users and so each room has own router which is even more restricted.. A little bit of ingenuity to get around that and onto other networks and Windscribe is fine.
Edit: ExpressVPN is getting through parts of the great China firewall where Windscribe is not.

Recently got this. They have a build a plan option, which I used and selected the following "locations" for $1 each per month:
ZA, Windflix US, Unlimited data. This allows me to access their free server locations in the UK/Romania and a bunch of other places with no data restrictions, and I have a local VPN for securing my browsing, completing the trifecta for me is the Winflix, which is a US netflix server. All I really wanted at $3 a month. And none of those $3 a month if you purchase upfront for 12 years nonsense either. $3 a month. Full stop.
