Ok,

So I am trying to suss out a situation here.
If i get Do Broadband from Telkom, and then also purchase a digichilli uncapped account, will i be able to use the digichilli account thru the Do Broadband router?

I am quite sure it is possible, just need clarification.

Also with digichilli, is it able to use the FULL speed of the line. Like if i get Do Broadband with a 4Mb line, and only get the digichilli spicy (R300) package, will i get up to 4Mb?

Your help with these questions will be so appreciated.

According to those using Digichilli, the bursting will allow full line speed at certain times, but not too sure how well that's working for them.
 
Some digichilli peeps were getting full speed on their 4Mb lines and some 384k users were getting *** speeds. Internet Lottery I guess.

Not so sure.

According to those using Digichilli, the bursting will allow double the line speed of what you paid with for them. If it ever happens...

In any event I was on a Digichilli Mild 256kbps test account package and it was abysmal. (I am on a 4MB/s Telkom line)
WHEN IT WORKED... I was lucky to get 10KB/s on single threaded downloads.

They also launched as unshaped but this was soon changed to shaped as according to them 'unshaped simply does not work'.

Anyway thanks Digichilli for the little bit of testing I got done for you.
I would not recommend Digichilli to anyone until overwhelming support in this forum shows that they have sorted out their problems.

Yes you get free router when you sign a 24month contract. When you get the 4mb/s you get a nice expensive router. When you get 384k you get a less expensive router. :)

If you just want to buy a router buy a unbranded one. Much better and sometimes more affordable too.
 
i was asking the question because the way the op has put it, it could be he will be signing a contract to get the free router.
