Finally got myself a 5.1 system, my old 2.1 el-cheapo broke a few months ago and the TV speakers finally drove me to madness.

Couldn't resist the Dion Wired Onkyo + Jamo bundle. I was waiting for them to run this special again, so I just went for it. For 10k, it's a good deal.

Setup is Onkyo TX-SR313, 2 x Jamo S 416, 2 x Jamo S 412, 1 x Jamo S41, 1 x Jamo SUB 210.

A bit too big for my current flat, but I'll probably move one day

Also, got extended 3yr warranty for an extra R899, 1 year is not enough.

I am definitely interested. Looks like my dream too I have to wait until my Sony 74cm "CRT" television packs in. And that might be a long time. Until then, my missus won't sanction a change of the furniture or TV.

But when it goes (or mysteriously disappears :twisted then it will be a glorious day! New 40" and supporting AV system.

Hehe, I don't push the volume too loud and when I do at least the neighbours can enjoy high fidelity sound

So far it's been great, super easy to setup. I'm just finding due to the small space I have to put everything that the bass tends to boom very easily, not really noticeable for movies but when listening to music I have to adjust the levels sometimes on some tracks.

It's a lot of money but it's almost 4 grand off their normal list price if you buy the components separately, hence the reason I bought it. Resale value should be pretty good also if everything is kept in good condition.
