So. I've been gaming online, with my 3G, and getting good, very good ping (10-30ms), in European servers, because I'm using a 'DE service provider.'

Anyways, I've seen many many customisation of stuff, and are interesting.

What I'm interested in is how you do them? Specifically where you die, and find yourself in another 'wake up' spot, and the one which lets you 'initially' select what gun to use, then after that for the rest of the match/map, you use that gun.

Raason I ask, is, almost everyday, well, everyday at college we play CS over LAN, about 30 of us, so would be interesting to play/implement something like that.

PC's are a bit crappy, although most are i3's, but we can't even play Source.

10-30ms ping to EU/DE servers from South Africa with 3G? Dream on bud. That can only be on South African servers and even then your ping was no less than 30ms even with HSPA+

And what if I post screenshots?

good thing you cant play source, it sucks

1.6 ftw.

unless you have invented some sort of wormhole, it is physically impossible for a signal to travel to europe and back in 30ms.

Yes, please post screenshots. Lowest ping to EU at the moment is ~120ms through SAT3 (shortest submarine cable to EU) to Portugal, or 150ms to London, and that's from Cape Town. Trust me, some of us 1.6'ers and other FPS gamers have tried anything to play on overseas servers... It's just not possible, 120ms to India/malaysia via SAFE/Seacom... and that's if your ISP is routing that way, most don't. 30ms can only be a South African server. So what was it? SGS, WITS, IS, GameZone, WA?

Another question: how on earth do you use a 'DE service provider' with 3G in SA?

Cool. I will.

I mean when I do speedtests and stuff, I'm routed under a 'DE' service provider.'

1.6 completely dominates Source on gameplay. It's still preferred overseas in all major tournaments and is still big here in South Africa even. In fact CS:Source is dying - turns out it was nothing more than a short-lived gimmick played for its graphics and other aesthetic advantages. It's not a good solid competitive FPS like 1.6
