capitalism(center-right to right) for example, thrives on innovation. stagnation is its downfall.

while for example, you get leftist nutjobs trying to keep people in the dark ages, groups of them living in communities denouncing progress.

nevermind our local so called progressive leftists trying to "decolonise science" or did you forget.

its almost like you are trying to paint people with metathesiophobia as only being right leaning. which is plain wrong and stupid.

there are people from all over the spectrum that stagnate or procrastinate when its in their best interest. just look at our government.

actually, we totally agree on that. not only him, but there's a long, sh1tty history of the fashion industry and all its satellite "modelling agencies" effectively being fronts for the prostitution of girls to rich people. couple of guys in France recently, and that photographer in the US too. and personally, I'm pretty certain he was whacked, because there's an equally long and sh1tty history of rich people covering their tracks.

the rest of the brain-worm stuff - Q, the Storm, the cabal, etc? not so much.

personally, i think the Q demographic (soccer moms, evangelicals, etc) makes people downplay the whole drive and not take it seriously. so i see it as planned, in the sense that some parts of the umbrella movement planned, and it was opportunistic for another part (Trump die-hards, some Q people) who were riled up and found the mob dynamic on the day exhilarating. that's why the crowd had yoga bunnies who were amazed to get maced mingling with neo-Nazi militia. they merge at the fringes, where there's a Q contingent that wants to overthrow the government to "release the children hidden in the basement", and a militia contingent that has been conducting sporadic violence (Cliven Bundy style) for years.

You seem to think capitalism is inherently conservative or progressive. The reason conservatives in most countries support capitalism is because that's the way things have been traditionally been done for over a century. Look at the fall of the Soviet Union where communism was established tradition for decades, the conservatives in Russia supported communism and Soviet ideals and it was the progressives in that country that embraced capitalism. Conservatives eventually won out and established a pseudo-soviet order.

The people denouncing tech and living in the dark ages are the Amish which are highly conservative Christian sect in the states. So Nah

Decolonization of science is essentially an attempt to create a new public order guess in that sense it's a "Progressive movement" is misguided movement by the non so well educated

According to Timeline, the Soviets called this handy mental illness "sluggish schizophrenia," and anyone who dissented from hard-line communist thought was most definitely a sufferer. That meant that simply speaking out against the Soviet government, distributing a leaflet, or defending the rights of people who were subject to oppression by the state was symptomatic of mental illness. "Sufferers" could be institutionalized, given high doses of antipsychotic drugs, put into insulin-induced comas, or whatever "treatment" doctors saw fit.

For some reason, the Bolsheviks were into this idea. According to NewScientist, it might have had more to do with sticking it to religion than creating a race of half human, half chimp slaves — if the Soviets could create a human-ape hybrid, then they could prove that Darwin was right and religion was wrong. Or, it could have been because the Soviets wanted to prove that it was possible to mold human beings into a compliant, Soviet ideal, which might one day mean breeding people who didn't care about owning stuff or getting ahead in life.

Ivanov traveled to Guinea and caught some chimps, then artificially inseminated three of them with human sperm (it didn't work). Then he decided to inseminate local women with chimp sperm — no one would volunteer for such a thing, though, so he was going to do it secretly during a "medical examination." Shockingly, the governor of Guinea told him "no." He tried to bring chimps back to the Soviet Union to continue his work, but they did not thrive and eventually he ended up exiled to Kazakhstan as a part of the Soviet purge of scientists.
