When did I ever say capitalism is leftist BTW it isn't right wing either. Conservatives are traditionalist and after years of capitalism, capitalism is just another tradition that conservatives want to protect.

There was a time in history before capitalism where the merchant class was despised by conservatives because they were a threat to the structure of society.

Stability is one of the most important thing to conservatives and to them stability comes from the tried and tested of either how things are done now or how they used to be done.

there are those resistant to change on both sides, especially if it is to their detriment. there are real world examples all around us. you just need to see it.

There's science behind my claims, oh wait I forgot you Trumpist don't believe in science and only beleive stuff Facebook, WhatsApp and dodgy websites.

Psychological profiling of conservatives and liberals found a high degree of correlation between the level of the trait of novelty seeking (openess to experience) to how liberal a person is. To put if another way the lower score on this trait the more conservative politically a person tended to be.

My question still remains though. The capitol is still standing and they completed the election. Where is the insurrection again?

Still a bunch of angry people taking selfies IMO. Nothing like the **** we've seen in the BLM riots where CNN explicitly says peaceful protests is not really required. Regardless of the aggression I'd still take that crowd than a blm supporter who might burn down my business if some random guy got shot and the perpetrators arrested. They had 0 effect on the election. Unlike BLM who shut down countless of businesses who had nothing to do with the matter.

No when their actual intent is to do it. With the police and politicians hid beneath their desk, what happened after that?

These protestors, In your terms "insurrectionists" are heavily armed compared to the anti gun liberal. If they truly want to overthrow a government do you really believe they'll go to the area without being geared for a insurrection?

I never claimed they were competent. They aren't. Doesn't change the reality of their actions
