PRETORIA – Footage of a man and a woman being assaulted at one of KFC’s outlets in Montana Pretoria has emerged on social media.

The video, posted on Twitter by a user @Tumisole is making rounds on twitter. It was posted on Friday and has been retweeted more than 3,000 times.

The victims say the altercation with the attackers began when they asked them [the attackers] to move forward in the queue.

Police spokesperson Kay Makhubela said four people have been arrested and charged with assault and possession of firearms. Two suspects remain at large.

Makhubela said police were alerted during the incident and the sector area vehicle responded immediately, leading to the arrest of the suspects.

Makhubela said those arrested and the suspects still at large would have to appear in court to face charges.
He requested witnesses to come forward and assist the police in the case, or alternatively to contact the SAPS help line.
Police Minister Fikile Mbalua added his condemnation to the attack and instructed the Sinoville police to investigate.

Can't make out anything from the video footage. The sound however indicates the woman is hit by these tough guys. And somewhere I hear the words "skiet hulle" of "skiet hom", so I assume these macho guys also felt the need to use their firearms.

Just another night in pretoria by the sounds of it....
 
I am so impressed Pretoria have a sector area vehicle, in working order..........though one would assume when the call came in from a KFC that half of Pretoria POPO would rock up.
 
I watched it without sound and almost vomited from motion sickness. Like watching the Blair Witch Project.
 
Hope they are arrested and justice served accordingly.

I did notice a lot of "racism" remarks, so will have to see if that will affect the judgement of law enforcement.

I would like to see them nailed hard but, considering the sloppy work done by SAPS and NPA, my guess is that a sharp lawyer will get them off. Hopefully, a bit of justice will be dished out while they wait for bail.

It takes a special kind of character to justify this barbaric behaviour, no matter the circumstances.

The truth is it's not really racist imo I know this stereotype and they'll threaten anyone with violence if you ask them to do something. Except if it is a hot chick brah...
 
oh you can bet your hat this is gonna be exploded into a massive race thing, the white hate after the spur incident is calming down now so its time to get some new selective material in. already seeing all the news rolls with "6 white men attack black couple" if thats not pushing an agenda then i dont know what is...
