Until now I have been using a certain courier company, but they have been letting me down a few times lately. Today I decided it is time to look for an alternative.

A parcel shipped a week ago to Knysna from PTA is still floating around (I hope) in one of their depots in George since last week.

The only response I got is out it is out for delivery.

The tracking page a couple of times tells it has been loaded on the manifest to George even after they say it has been checked in at George and had a floor check at George.

I have a feeling they just lost the parcel and are delaying the inevitable telling me it is lost.

I am not mentioning any names of courier company involved here, just want some honest recommendations of other recommended courier companies.

I received a few parcels with them through the years (buying online etc.)
Never had any issues.

Never once had a bad experience with them

Everyone local has been amazing, except Fed Ex in South Africa. Ive had numerous issues with them in all the years here. Only in RSA that is. Overseas they are pretty good.

I've spent a few years looking for a courier better than TCG due to their dismal billing department and one too many late collections/deliveries. I've not yet found one. When you do, please also tell me where I can get my daughter a real-life unicorn :(

At work for the past 2 decades we have been using Pioneer Freighting.

So, apparently they wanted more details as in from which place to which place coz both cities are massive

I said just give me an average figure now, lets see if that helps, otherwise I will PM you or DM or or whatever it is you Okes say and get address to address if the courier company asks :thumbsup:

Yup got delivered in the end. Excuse was they couldn't find the place.

They in the end got another courier company to deliver ?????

I sent parcels to that same address in the past and my customer received other parcels from the same courier company as well. So the statement that they could not find the place does not make sense, unless they employed someone new, who hopefully does not get past his probation period.
 
Are you in George or one of the surrounding towns. Most of the Major reputable door to door road freight transporters have depots in George that offer a next day service from Johannesburg or Pretoria

Thanks, but that is my issue. That's completely unaffordable - TCG charges R 92 (total) for the same delivery from almost anywhere within Gauteng same day to almost anywhere within Gauteng.

When I was sucking digital cock a few years back I use to order my vaping juice from eciggies.co.za in the afternoon online.
Next morning it was delivered

The Courier Guy

90 bux to deliver Pretoria --> Cape Town in under 24hrs. It blew me away every time
