Hi guys, I need some advice.

I bought a car second hand from a dealer two years ago. My car has recently been in for some repairs and in the process I have found out that the car had previously been in an accident.

I am certain that the dealer who sold me the car was obliged to tell me that the car had accident damage. However I was never informed of this. Is there any course of action that I can take (considering it is now two years passed)? I think this is unacceptable from a "reputable" dealership.

Did you ask him? He can just as easily clame he didn't know about the accident himself. So I don't think you can do anything about it or at least nothing will come of you trying to get something out of this.

It's not about "getting something" - its about right and wrong. They are a major reputable dealership who intentionally misrepresented the sate of the car. Such defects surely should be disclosed?

In addition they claimed the bumper was misaligned due to a clip breaking - when it is due to an accident.

Had I known about the accident I would not have bought the car.
