Coverage in Hyde Park

Hi,

Anyone able to confirm whether or not there is coverage in the Hyde Park, Jozi area for Cell C?

I have 5/5 coverage in Illovo, near Wanderers, only a few blocks away - but Hyde Park is on the other side of the hill and I am not sure where the transmitter is, I think that it may be near Melrose Arch.

So that does not really help you, but may give some sort of indication.

But I now have a Cell C 2GB pm Data SIM in a 3G phone (Nokia N78, has UMTS 900 MHz), so if I drive past Hyde Park I will check it out for you.

OK, I drove down First Road from the SAA offices right down to Hyde Park Corner, monitoring the phone and trying Skype test calls at the beginning, middle and end of the trip.

My Phone showed 5/5 Cell C 3G all the way.

Don't know how reliable that is, but reception seems fine.
