Good Day Folks

My name is Jonathan and I run a small SA based web host.

I've run into a bit of a problem which I hope some of you clever types can give me a hand with as it seems the "good" folks at Uniform SA is slacking a bit on the job.

A few days ago I moved my reseller account to a new host and subsequently I tried to move one of my clients' domains across to my new name servers.

The domain is chds.co.za.

I've tried and tried and tried and every single time I get an error as follows:

COZA: $Revision: 1.227 $ $Date: 2010/04/16 13:45:34 $
ERROR: domain name "chds.co.za" contains an illegal word - Abort
RETURN ADDRESS=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
SUBJECT=chds.co.za

I am absolutely livid coz I've e-mailed Uniform SA support twice already in the space of four days and no response as to why this is happening. Talk about poor service delivery.

I cannot even begin to describe the urgency of the domain move as 1. The old host I was with is busy closing down and they are literally just waiting for move the last domain across and 2. The company in question needs the domain fully functioning as soon as possible as they are a freight company who needs their e-mail accounts up and running or their business does not function.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and how was it resolved if you've encountered it?

Please guys I am desperate.

Thanks

Jonathan

I'm not sure what the problem is but you might want to contact them by phone.

Note that it is Uniforum SA (not Uniform SA).

The contact details can be found at http://co.za/contact.shtml

Hope this helps.

If it's so urgent, why don't you pick up that strange looking device on your desk and speak into it.

I know, you're probably still a kid and phones are for texting and taking pictures right? I promise it will also make a call.

Forgive my sarcasm but I don't understand it when people fail to pick up the phone.
