According to Wiki a CPU Architecture is a set of Instructions to complete a task. That is all fine and dandy. I get that, it is like 80x86 assembly language. So I wan to know how various of these architectures work. I have set my sights on x86 and ARM CPU Architectures.
I have searched long and hard to find pages explaining how the CPU architectures work. I even went on to stack overflow but I got a comment of use a book called "Computer Architecture, A Quantitative Approach Edition 5" that it is useless.
I attempted to make scenes of block diagrams online but it does not help much as it is very low level.
Is there any useful books or pages that you guys know of?
