When you are buying Servers, do you pay attention to the CPU-B score?

It all depends on what you're using it for.

I want to know what a CPU-B score is.

I'll usually compare CPU perf on something like HPL from vendor benchmark figures, but i've found cinebench & random programs like Prime95 to be a good benchmark if you've already got the CPUs hanging around.
