Hi Guys

throwing together a PC,however i need some advice with regards to the following.
I have an Intel DH77DF ,i want to use a GFX card with this mobo but dont have a cpu cooler that allows the card to slot in.Its slightly too long.

I ant to put it in this case : Cooler Master Elite 120

Would the following work for this build : Vortex-211P

Not looking to spend over R300 on this though,so my question is,will this cooler work in that case as well as allow me to use the PCIE slot.Im impressed with this style of CPU cooler though Hyper-TX3-Evo

Any advice would be appreciated

I don't think you going to find a cooler for cheap that you can fit a gpu in that PCI-e slot.

I just checked and the stock intel cpu cooler should be able to handle it. you running h77 board so no overclocking anyway.

Why do you need a new CPU cooler? Are you planning on overclocking? If not, the stock Intel fan would be perfect for an ITX build

Yes i agree Intel fan should be enough. The only reason someone would get aftermarket cooler is if they want something quieter, overheating cpu or overclocking seeing as he's running an h77 motherboard no overcloking even with 3770k

Spot on, forgot it is a H77. So use to Z77 itx mobos :p

Thanks for the responses.Yeah, looking for something quieter atm.lets say i bump up the afford cost 3 fold.would i beable to find something that would work for this application

with regards to this, does it include everything required to get operational out the box?or do i buy extra bits and bobs?
Nope, these are good out of the boxs. It's a closed loop water cooling system, no need to add liquid etc.

All you do is, mount the radiator (fan) to your chassis, add the brackets onto the motherboard (if there are any), and then install the heatsink.

I'm no too sure on how big the noise reduction will be, but heat will surely be lower.
