Hi,

I have a Intel MoBo with a Intel Quad Core 9650.

I was thinking of getting the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 from Kalahari.net

But does the above fan come with clips for the mobo?
currently i'm running the standard fan that came with the CPU, and the heatsink/fan is a single unit and when you plug the fan into the mobo it bends the mobo a little, so want to get something that is better.

What other suggestion do you guys have?
Cheers

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus.
Yes it's got everythign you need, you won't find a better cooler for the price.

+1 I'm a huge cooler master "fan-boi" they are really good. I put one of those babies on my old mans 9550. works lovely!!!
I have the V8. All the bits and pieces come boxed with it....

no-one use therlmanright, better cooling solution in my opinion, used zalman and coolermaster but thermalright got the job done better, $$$ though. worth it

If you want real results and for free (but you will lose your warranty) try lapping your CPU. I lapped mine and added the V8 went from 60C+ on load to avg 42C on load in a room that gets to 33C easy! In winter I barely go over 30C.

its about double the price, but if you want a great aircooler that runs quiet.

It's 3x the price and have a look at this chart.

and their top cooler chart:

If your mathematics is any good, you'll be able to tell it's not worth the extra cash.

Think it's worth investing in a better cooler for my cpu if it never peaks past 42°?
