seems to be, from the article

The reason why I asked the question is so that those who do not believe that students are involved with the violence can receive some clarity. That time when the law has your balls in a vice grip,

He appeared startled by the crowded public gallery and briefly spoke in barely audible Afrikaans when questioned by the court.

Whatever this means,

A #FeesMustFall leader told TMG Digital outside of the court that Dick had resisted their previous efforts to recruit him into their ranks at CPUT.

so they distant themselves, great buddies this Dick have.

CPUT 'arsonist' granted bail

CAPE TOWN - A Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) student implicated in an arson attack at the Bellville campus has been granted bail.

Byron Dick appeared in court this morning following his arrest last week after two university buildings were set alight.

At least three security guards who were allegedly deliberately locked inside one of the burning buildings at the time of the incident were injured.

About 2 hour mark, starting now.

Lol, they asking to have their charges withdrawn. No later than today. This is beyond silly, it is a lecturer which in her own personal capacity made these statements to the police. Amnesty se gat.

These protesters burn the institutions down, demolish and vandalise where possible. Now they wanted to be granted with amnesty. I’m sorry, but these protesters need to learn a lesson through their actions the hard way. Tomorrow they do the same to their workplace, then to have amnesty…

The law means nothing, don’t know why people are supporting this cause.

Not to mention the ongoing looting... criminals.

Lol, now they are asking to drop any and all legal charges, including those which went to court...
