Cramming is the practise of putting third party charges on a telco bill. In SA this is generally done by the MNOs in respect of WASP charges for subscription services and the like and is something that a lot of people have a major issue with. We see a lot of complaints along the lines of “who does MNO X think they are I never agreed to these charges and they simply deduct them”.
This is currently under focus in the US (although to a limited extent)
