Crappy Logitech Speakers going Snap, Crackle,Pop!

I have a Dell Vostro, nice machine, she plays alright music, purchased a cheapo set of Logitech USB speakers , Z120's..... wanted to enhance the bagpipe experience for the rest of the lads in the office...

Anyhow, for the last few weeks, the blerrie things are crackling when I play music, I have changed settings, my audio drivers are up to scratch..... If I move the wires, it makes no difference(looking for a lose connection there)...

Please! I beg of you , pray tell why are my speakers going crackle..... me pipes sound like copper....

if they are new, test them on say a phone or other pc radio etc.... if the problem is the same call logitech SA and RMA it they will send u new ones

You friggin Beauty! I just plugged my S3 into it and perfect, so problem is a setting on Laptop..... Will fiddle, thanks!

Did a reboot, pressed F2, ran the system check thingy and the sound check.... sounded alright here, rebooted and the crackling had gone.....
