Just woke up now from a late night out.
Not really hungry, but I am seriously craving koeksisters (and coffee).

I remember, growing up in Woodstock in the late 70's, there were 2 young muslim girls going from door to door selling them every Sunday morning out of large plastic containers.

Anybody know where to get some nice ones on a Sunday morning in the Cape Town northern suburbs?

I think they are called koesister not koeksisters.

Yes they are. But so many muslim shops use the word koeksister on their containers.
Even the muslim girls at work talk about koeksisters.

Either way, I need some now.

My mom spent the week with me and she makes the best. She made about 100. Packed them in the freezer. Made a batch this morning.

You two need to meet up halfway on the N2 and do a deal under a bridge.

OP needs to take a drive through a predominantly muslim area like Cravenby Estate at about 6am on a Sunday morning. Look for the house where people are walking out with Tupperware containers. They normally sold out by 7.

My sympathies :p
I've just had my craving satisfied.
Bought 4 at Checkers N1 City.
Not the prettiest, but yummy.

oh lord
you have induced an instant craving in me for the one's you dont want.
i suspect your chances of success at scoring out in the northern suburbs are somewhat greater than mine on the atlantic seaboard
I'll take a batch of the latter as well.
