Hi Everyone,
Desperately looking for advice.
I'm having dreadful download speeds, especially on my Apple TV, which connects to the US iTunes store. Usually, it downloads media very fast (movie ready (buffered) to start watching in 30-50 seconds), but lately, it takes days to download. I thought that maybe my ISP (MWEB) is throtteling my account due to heavy use, but I have tried some other ISP's as well - The speed is better, but the nett result pretty much the same. Telkom tested my line and reports all in order (other sites like Youtube etc stream flawlessly).
Could this be due to the cable issues being addressed now?
Also, I see some ISP's (Like Axxess) offers internet though IS or SAIX. The SAIX choice being the more expensive option. Can someone please explain why there is such a huge price difference when both are said to be unshaped?
Oh, my linespeed is the Telkom 4Mbps service.
Many Thanks
