Over the last few days, my packet loss has gone from a nice 2-4% last week , to no less than 20% since a few days ago.

I know a while back there was a topic containing several download links, for version 4.2.1.8 and v5, but to my dismay, I could only find links to 4.2.1.8
I'm currently on 4.2.1.8, and am desparately trying to get my packetloss to what it was previously , if anyones remembers , or has a few different versions of the FW, please let me know, I am going to do some tests with any firmware I can get my hands on.
I'm hoping sentech did some upgrades to the tower firmware, and this will resolve the probs.

thanks chuckl, but like I am looking for any version above 4.2.1.8
the link you gave only has download links for 4.2.1.8.

I have ver 5.0.1.40y.
Email me if you want it, but I must warn you
that it's ping times are not that great compared
to 4.2.1.8
edit / ProAsm's site has it here: http://www.unrealza.co.za/files/other/IPWP1CF5.0.1.40y.exe

If/when v5 is installed on the towers we should see the v5 client firmware come into it's own. I'd presonally NOT recommend the v5 at the moment... come to think of it I'd recommend anyone with MYwireless runs for their lives....

Thanks , got it, worth an attempt, but packetloss is still over the roof. Has anybody else experienced a major spike since the maintenance last week?

PS, results so far , 4.2.1.8 still slightly better than 5.0.1.4

Yes. Same here in Durban.
Packet loss has gone out of control.... but
here, these issues started in early July.

I'm getting > 10% loss. It's really screwing up my downloads, not too mention the remote desktop connections I need to make to do my job.

dorris have a look at: http://riggerman.dyndns.org/cgi-bin/smokeping.cgi?target=SouthAfrica.Sentech

Shows some latency issues over the past weeks
