I made a mistake twice;

1. Went out for a jol with the boys. I told her I should be back about 11. Got home @ 2 the next morning. We were @ Te@Zers. Nearly divorced. Took months to get over it. Now 4 years later and she still holds it against me every now and again.

2. Was with her brother at his workshop. @ 4 in the afternoon she phoned and I said, just busy cleaning then I'm home. Needless to say I only got home @ 7:30. Wow. World war 3.5.

Ja, we can never win.

I don't think anyone won in that situation.

I would like to offfer a word of advice since people seem to be struggling to deal with a woman in full rage mode.

In the face ofof a full frontal irrational attack by the missus just agree with her. At this point it doesn't matter who is right and anything you say in your defence is just going to infuriate her further.

Just agree with her and once she has calmed down and the rational part of her brain is engaged again you can make your point.
