Hi guys
In my quest to improve my Android phone's performance (Sony Xperia C) I have considered setting up a swap partition on my SD card - is this a stupid idea? I have a 10x SDHC 32GB Samsung EVO SD Card and I can spare 512MB or so on it for swap. Problem is, will this not degrade the SD card (or risk it corrupting data on the rest of the card) faster?
I have an internal partition /storage/sdcard1 which Sony sets up as a virtual External SD card. I am also considering the possibility of nuking this /storage/sdcard1 (have to figure out the attack on that though) and using the internal for the swap instead, if that makes sense?
Any comments, advice, suggestions, etc. would be appreciated, as always
