Hi there,

I am about to migrate to Cell C and I was wandering.

I have 3 desktops and 1 laptop on my home network connected to my current router which is not 3g.

Is it possibile to connect 1 of the destops with the speedstick and then share the connection over the network?

I thought it is possible. Am I missing something?

Ty for the advise.

I am going to try the ICS.

I looked at router option but I would need a router with 3g and at least 3 Lan ports. Those routers are a bit pricey especially considering that I can use my current router.

regards

Yes try ICS first but IMO it will be a headache.
The routers from TP-Link has 4 LAN ports. R399 is definitely not bad for a wireless 3G router.

edit: didn't see morkhans's post, so yeah what he said.

i'm with morkhans and almost every other person on this one. Getting the router will be worth it. Espacially weighed up against the ICS option can be a nightmare at time.

@ Cell.C-Guru, when will we be able to monitor our data usage from Cell C's web portal? Guys with 3G routers are struggling with no USSD support.
