Ok i got my new SideWinder X6 keyboard, but have a stupid question.

The keyboard's numpad is removable and i would like to use it instead of the w,a,s,d buttons.

All the numpad buttons is macro buttons as well, thus i want to use the (8) button instead of the w, but if i convert it and run any game the (8) doesn't let me walk forward but only act if i'm pressing (w) once.

Any suggestion?

Sorry I don't have a clue, but silly question from me, have you tried setting the game's options to use Numpad 8 to move forward etc,,,

Though the numpad is so much better than wasd for games, especially fast FPS games, just a pity it's off to the side.

Yes thought of that, but when you go in macro mode the whole numpad switch to macro keys thus i cant use them that way

That's what's so nice about this keyboard the numpad can be removed and switched to the left side

No way, there are too few keys around the numpad to make it viable.

Even just cod4 you need at least 1,2,3,4,5,6 for weapons,f,r,n,shift, control, space bar,c,v,w,a,s,d and tab.

So just off the top of my head you need 19 keys. I probably left some out too.

There are just too few keys around the num pad.

Do anyone know of any other gaming/hardware forums i can post this question. Searched the internet vrot and couldn't find anything.

The main reason i bought the keyboard was because of the macro keys on the numpad:(
