All I can say (so far) is wow. Got my NeoConnect Prime Uncapped today. Played with it all day at work and averaged about 100kB/sec all day long. Just switched it on at home at 200+kB/sec CONSTANT!! Peaks at 250! No ext antenna yet, gettting that tommorrow.

Proof will be in leaving it on over longer periods of time i guess. See what it does over night etc.

I refuse to say in which area I am cause I honestly believe I'm the only one on this tower atm :-)

Cheers

You probably joined on day they seem to be fixing things - a day earlier and you'd be cursing them to hell...

Oh please! 1 Day!

Go away and come back in a coupla weeks.

"Credit where its due"... sheesh!

LOL...its always great the first few days...as Madman88 said...come back in a coupla weeks!

If the tower's not congested then 200KB/s should be effortless.

Its called the honeymoon period bro. Wait till its over. The only thing this is imminent is divorce.

Look, I agree that this is far from what Broadband SHOULD be. The speed is all over the place. Anything from 50 to 200 Kb/sec and the 2 disconnections I've experienced in 1 day is a pain in the arse. BUT, it's still at worse double what Telkom can offer me for a fraction of the price. Telkom claim they can't upgrade me to 4mps DSL, i'm too far from the exchange. All I want to do is attempt to backup the internet to my local drive ( hope you know this is a joke.. bazinga ) :-)

No, If they can deliver what they promise its double, at worse its slower than the 192k line I started off with years ago. Or not there at all.

I have been downloading on average 160mb a day. Thats for 24 hours.
If it where to carry on at that rate I would be paying a grand for 5 or 6 gigs. Fraction if the price? I think not.

I will , with hesitation, say that today my prime line is up to 40kB/s for the first time in a month. Hopefully its higher when I get home, back to 80kB/s at least.

Fair enough. But where I could only do 2 gig a day on my DSL, I now managed 12 gig in a 24 hour period.

What we need is fibre to curb :-)
