Creepy Crawly wont work

Hi Guys, I am babysitting a house and for some reason the creepy crawly wont work The pool pump is running but the CC is "dead" I have removed all the leaves from the basket in the wall but do not know what else to try and do.....Any Ideas.....I was told that maybe i should clean the filter at the pump???????seriously I have no idea what I am doing and don't want to bugger it up completely

Ask the owner? Surely the owner won't blame you for this, unless you stuck something in it.

Hi, did you clear the 2nd basket where the pump is? That must be full.GO check it out and clear it.

Once that is done, backwash for about a minute, then rinse for 10 seconds. Put the selector back on the filter setting. Very important - turn the pump off before changing the position of the selection lever.

Take the creepy out of the pool and check that nothing's been sucked up and stuck inside the narrow part. You might have to dislodge it.

there is usually something stuck in the diaphragm in the CC. You need to take it out of the pool to check this. Don't forget to disconnect it or switch the pump off.

As a Stellenbosch girl; despite the good advice given above; I think you just need to take the pipe out of the weir, and then use the same technique as for siphoning petrol out of a car and you will be good to go.
