Potchefstroom - Nestlé officials will be meeting with the Tlokwe community and a DA councillor who brought the recent spillage of large quantities of coffee creamer into the Mooi River to public attention.
Nestlé’s Ravi Pillay told OFM News this morning that he will be putting in an appearance at noon today in Potchefstroom to discuss short and medium term solutions to the problem.
On Tuesday residents were left bewildered after the Mooi River had turned a milky white colour. It later transpired that a large spill of Cremora had occurred at the Nestlé factory upstream.
DA councillor Juanita Terblanche said she will bring the following suggestions to the table.
Love how the lady in the first picture is pointing at the water, Like it has to be pointed out that there is something wrong with the water.

I'm not sure how something like this unintentionally leaks into a river. Would love to see the explanation.
Funny but not actually.
What else has Nestle been dumping in the river? That Cremora will damage the environment and they must be held accountable.
The woman pointing is a good thing because some South Africans are so blind to things they wouldn't notice otherwise.
Interesting though, this story is running around on minor news/article related sites two days ago, but nothing vocal coming from the major media entities.
...they have been sneaking crap into that water forever and a day. Green Scorpions must investigate fully. Most animals are lactose intolerant.
