Crewless Starliner lands safely

Boeing Co.’s glitchy space capsule returned to Earth without a crew, after a test flight that was marked by technical problems and delays.

The CST-100 Starliner departed the International Space Station at 6:04 p.m. Friday New York time and landed in White Sands, New Mexico, after a flight lasting about six hours.

Thrusters seemed to work fine on undocking, and the return went without a hitch. Somewhat lux that they can delegate the return to another company from the same country. Adds a degree of redundancy for test flights that is both unusual and useful.

Personally, I will not be stepping onto anything built by Boeing for a very long time to come. these people have survived off 100 year old technology for far too long as it is.

The problems at Boeing, or rather the problems with their products are rooted in management. That's what happens when a company has it's balls put in a vise by the MBAs, accountants and shareholders

I'd say the problems at Boeing are just a very public version of the problems at most companies these days.
