While I've never used Critters and Comics, there's also AWX, which is very reputable but they specialise more in the anime/gaming subculture.

C&C look legit, only thing is that they don't seem to use a security certificate.

Oh... and no phone numbers...

I wouldn't use them unless I was desperate, but that's me.

They use paygate so the credit card part is secure. I checked that. I also noticed the no phone numbers and address which is why I decided to ask here. I did pick up the numbers and address from the whois and it's based here in Jhb. I will take a look at AWX, they look quite professional. They don't have the figure that my daughter wanted but there may be another one that she likes. Thanks.

The way I go about sites I'm unsure about is that I spend an amount of money I'm comfortable taking a risk with. If they stuff up or I never see the money again, I can live with it because I expected the worst :p

I'm sure C&C are legit though. I'd just rather use an alternative if there is one :p

They look quite cool. Have a store front too which is ideal for little ones. Anime is not quite the right style but they must have some figurines for younger ones. It seems like the whole action figure market only consists of barbie and the latest cartoon these days.

This is what I was thinking about doing. Buy one and see what happens. They are quite cheap so it wouldn't be the end of the world if something went wrong.

Have been buying from them for ages. They are legit man, so don't stress about getting your figure. If you are still worried, take a trip to alberton city and speak to Joe at smallville comics, he can get whatever you want. Excellent dude.

Cool, nice to hear. How long does the stuff normally take to get to you?

Its sent via speed services so its the next day. Just ask Marco to insure it. But they do package the stuff well. What is it youre actually looking to get?

Went past AWX. They didn't have a lot of stuff for kids but I bought a couple of small things there. Critters and Comics went like clockwork. Picked up the figure from the post office today. Very happy.
