good day..

i want to get a "dual" GPU system working, but I don't have this cable... and shops like computer mania and matrix say it comes with GPU and they don't sell them...

But I got a GPU the other day, and it did't come with it..

So my friend said that it should have came with the motherboard (which I didn't get), so I just want to ask, does anyone know here I can get this cable? (It's not too expensive I hope..)

THANKS

Comes with the motherboard, well mine did..
Try a local PC shop, big IT oulets such as incredible and computer mania don't really stock them as it usually comes with a motherboard or GPU

Your motherboard and GPU should have one each. Rather shocking if it didnt, its part of the package. What you doing, SLI (nvidia) or crossfire (ati/amd)? I have a spare crossfire bridge lying around, will give it to you for free if you are going the ati route.

My 7800 GT had one, at the time I didn't know what it was for. I suppose the cards that couldn't be SLI'ed didn't have one?

Well the shops around is only:

IC, computer Mania, matrix.. and that's it... I don't know anywhere else.. sigh

I'm confused... are you trying to xfire (2 ati cards) or SLI (2 nvidia cards). You cant use one of each unless you have a very special motherboard or do some scaly bios flashing

Does nobody read!? I said, if he needs a xfire connector I'll give mine to him free.

I have like 3.

I'd like a bigmac in return though. :D

Well I am trying the 2 ATI card version.. because I did read about the ATI and Nvidia card thing, and I'm scared that it's going to mess up my PC.. but isn't it the same cable?

Thanks anyway..
