That what I thought, but then... Brightoil... made me think twice... in hindsight this is probably aping Brightoil's offering to look legit.

Doubt it's about touching it specifically.
Carte Blanche usually air a 'scam alert' type episode. Meaning, one episode that covers a few important scams. All their episodes are not just about scammings, as you know.

Wonder when the going to do a cover on the lunatics and their believers that was on the front page of Rapport on Sunday. The more I read the more I was ramming my head on the table lol

Oh and scam will always "work" first.

I mean if you stand with a shotgun and a heap of bananas in front of you, randomly firing it off and shooting any monkey that dares come close, you may end up killing 2 monkeys

Now... if you sit really still with 4 bananas in front of you, some monkeys will edge closer, eventually grabbing a banana and darting away into the tree where their friends smell the banana. If you wait long enough, more will come and take bananas. You then take some of your own bananas and put it on the ground. More monkeys come. You kill one and sell to the lion for lots and lots of bananas.

Eventually the whole monkey kingdom will be there. You can even make a rustle, they won't be afraid as they are gorging themselves on bananas. You fire a single shot, killing lots of monkeys and sell all of them for more bananas you can ever use.

Yes, it's a really lowkey explanation, but some people believe in pyramids so I have to make it understandable to all.

Seems they take submissions and take a few weeks to work through it.
Carte Blanche is one of my favorite shows. I usually just watch the "serious" segment though.
Would you mind linking to the article you mention?
My Google-fu is failing me today :)
