CryENGINE 3 demo drops jaws

It may be a far cry from Crysis coming to the PlayStation 3, but CryTek is doing everything in its power to bring its exciting engine to the console we cherish. As expected, CryTek showed off its latest engine in a demo today for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Fortunately, very few were left disappointed; the visual prowess and overall feel of the demo left us extremely impressed.

Hopefully developers can start taking advantage of this engine as soon as possible as the possibilities seem to be endless.

Nice to hear a new engine is coming through to the consoles though you know, on the Xbox atleast, it will be handicapped by the (now) ageing hardware.

Lets see if Sony can put there money with their mouth is and make that little cell really work.
