Is it viable to solo mine a cryptonote coin at difficulty +- 53 000 000 at about 30 h/s
(network hashrate +- 893 000 h/s) ? CPU = fx 8300 @ 3.5Ghz

Gut feeling says no, does somebody know ?

look at pool mining for Cryptonite or even Cryptonite Lite or Ethash and i mean they are still being mined and u can make some reward even if it is small, but it is certainly not less than 1 dollar which would be electricity worth anyways.

Give it try for more than 24 hours and see if u get a lucky strike.

Everybody on other forums told me to forget about it for a coin i tried called monacoin and i managed to get 3 blocks and i have 1 graphics cards AMD RX470.
Now for some reason solo doesnt work because they broke the new wallet , not sure what the hell they did and the support is horrible so nobody is looking at the issue, i guess.

I am trying Spreadcoin now, on solo and will see how it goes.

nicehash and all these other mutipool tools are nice but sometimes it is good to explore other coins.

Not even sure if Nicehashminer or Guiminer is worth it these days, i aslo dont thikn their calculations on what coin to mine works properly.

There are still coins there they have not listed, with new algorithms.
