Seems a mail went out to all account holders that they can now start registering a claim for their tokens.

If you did have coins on the exchange but haven't received the mail, check your junk mail. That's where I found it.

Just to note, Grant Thornton has not yet made an official announcement on twitter so proceed with caution, unlike myself.

On the registering side, it seems their questions are highly specific in order to verify ownership, so much so that I feel they are making it near impossible to very ownership. For someone like myself, remembering what coins I had prior to liquidation and the amount is near impossible. Other questions is last 3 transactions with txID's. Sad to say I failed verification so I will just wait to see what happens.

Anyways, hopefully those that had funds, are successful and get something back.

I think i had some 50usd there hmmm

Is one still able to log into the site to get this info? Can't remember if I even have my 2FA for it
Nope.

I hope it's not the case but with the questions they asking, it's either you had screenshots of everything or you will not be able to claim or verify ownership.

Hopefully it's just a glitch in the process that will be fixed or made more accommodating but only time will tell really.

My last recall of account wallet value was 0.1BTC. I've already written it off but would be a nice 2021 bonus.

I read on Twitter that the form is broken. Even for people with their correct info provided. It could be a fake site to attempt phishing of info out of people before the real site goes live.

Folks on twitter are saying wait for the official announcement then start the claim process

This was my first thought as well. But I was looking at the links inside and the assignment of a token made me think might be legit

Cryptopia posted about the email on the official twitter page. I clicked the link in the email and it tells me invalid :/

I get this:
"The registration link is no longer valid.
Please contact customer support at https://cryptopia.zendesk.com/hc/en-us"

I sent a ticket now. Hopefully they dont take another 2 years to fix this

I tried it as well and got the same response. I think because the link had a token in it, it was either only good for 1 click or for a set time after which the token expires.

If they posted about it, must mean it's legit but fark me, those questions.

Edit: Seems I'm not the only one failing verification. Seems practically everyone is.

In the comments someone posted if you use your join date and the 2 coins in your holdings then it will work.

I have no idea what my join date is. I clean my inbox of any clutter

Lol, I had a R1000 worth of some coin I can't remember the name of. Not even going to bother.

I believe the login link expires when you register your email. Go to the portal site directly and it will allow you to login.
