Crysis 2 announced for PC, 360 and PS3

EA have announced Crysis 2 for PC, 360 and PS3. The game was breify presented at EA press even t at E3. No more info was given on the game.

“The development of Crysis 2 marks a major stepping stone for our studio,” said Crytek boss Cevat Yerli.

“This is not only the next game in the Crysis franchise, it’s the first title we are developing for consoles and the first title being built on CryENGINE 3.

“We are excited to have the support of EA Partners again as we work together to make the launch of Crysis 2 a huge event.”

Didn't they threaten NOT to support PC because "90% of gamers pirate" or something?
 
They said that they are going over to consoles as well as is it much more cost effective versus PC exclusives, as far as piracy is conserned. i.e. less people pirate console games.

I hope the multiplayer servers will support consoles as well. Would be a boost the Crysis multiplay community. :)
