Need help pls.

Install Crysis 2 on a Win 10 64 bit OS however the game crashes every time at launch.

After some research i find out that the game was designed for 32 bit systems only, however if you could insert a Crysis 2 bin64 file into the main game directory and rename it as bin32 the game would work.

I am looking for such a valid file. I got a bunch of infected schite last night from the net, am hoping someone has applied this fix and has or can point me to a working one.

Thx

The "...the game was designed for 32 bit systems only" part, I find hard to believe.
I've installed on only x64 machines and not once did it not work.

There's something else going on here. Is this an original version or a "pirated" version?
If original, download or reinstall again. If "pirated"...well then....

Hope you find a fix soon!

I have no idea where you get this 32bit only problem from, I can categorically state it has nothing to do with crysis being 32bit running on a 64bit OS.

As it does work on vista 64/win81. 64/Win7 64/ it also works unmodified in windows 10, but you have to exclude it from windows defender and run in compatibility mode.Compatibility list

This is the official list from Microsoft.

Which version do you have retail disc copy/steam/origin, I have all 3 and all 3 is working. If you have a retail copy disc like me, I added the key to origin, and use the origin version, instead of the retail copy.

Second question is, do you have a legit copy, as there is zero reason why it should not work, there is no need to mod files to work if you have a legit copy.

Yes, def legit.

But i have just realized i was doing something very wrong, and have managed to fix.

Game working.

Late night installs, eish.

don't recall ever having a problem with it running under Win7 x64

I had to ask as more than often game piracy thrives here, and spotted a few threads in that regard.Still I am not sure where you came to the conclusion that it is a 64bit issue.
