This is true. :)

However you must also remember that the disk installs onto the PC and then the game itself becomes about 8 - 10 gigs on the hard drive, if not more. ;)

A console that can handle the graphics. :D
Pity about the PS3's shoddy old non-unified shader architecture of it's GPU then because it certainly will not handle Crysis at an acceptable level of detail. Can you say "bottleneck"?

A console That can also handle 25 - 50 gigs of data on a single disk.:D
Crysis was a sub 8-gig installation.

You can Blu-ray all you want until you're "blu" in the face

Sorry gents but no dice. Actual no Valve :p

Just like Valve they can handle the 360 port in house with existing skills because they already know the tool set and architecture from developing on PC.

Outsourcing for PS3 skills is basically saying "WTF?!?!" and admitting defeat.

and the ps3 couldnt even handle a port of the orange box properly, Crysis OMW , ! the ps3 gpu rapes the machine and everyone knows crysis iis a gpu intensive game, sorry folks you just aint got the right amount of internal bandwidth :D ! The reason why they are probably hiring ps3 devs is to work on a possible new game ! ever thought of that !

Well whether it's "Crysis" or not, they want to sell their engine, and the only ones people are buying these days are the cross platform ones.
