^^^ There's the official specs for crysis. Also some nice shots to compare the level of detail.

Eish, must say that I don't think I will be able to run it at high. Medium setting here I come!!!!!!!! :(

Anyone here with a killer rig that beats the recommended specs?

If so, can I be your friend??? :p

Mine kills it :)
Intel QX6700
8800GTX xtreme edition
2GB ocz platinum
Asus striker extreme mobo

Sorry can't run it till I get my new PC :(

Recommended System Requirements
OS - Windows XP / Vista
Processor - Intel Core 2 DUO @ 2.2GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+
Memory - 2.0 GB RAM
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS/640 or similar

Minimum System Requirements
OS - Windows XP or Windows Vista
Processor - 2.8 GHz or faster (XP) or 3.2 GHz or faster* (Vista)
Memory - 1.0 GB RAM (XP) or 1.5 GB RAM (Vista)
Video Card -256 MB**
Hard Drive - 12GB

only have 16GB's left and a 128Mb display card :(

BTW just looking at the screenies, it seems as if Low will basicaly have nothing fancy to show other than the game play and the AI :D Medium seems to have some of the features kick in :) with new PC probably aim for med w/ some high settings :)

I think my setup is okay - yet I struggle to play most games that are sort of new or new.

XP
256 MB video card
1 gig ram
3.2 GHz processor

I don't know the details exactly of each, but whatever game I play (Company of heroes, C&C3, or any of the newish FPS - I usually have to set everything well down to make sure there is no stuttering or slow down. Any suggestions?

mmm will not get this (not yet) UT3 is around the corner [Demo out in 2 weeks] those system req's are more forgiving on older systems! you gotta love U 3.0 engine!!

BTW ORANGE BOX IS OUT!! so its that for me now!!! :D :D :D

what video card if its a 256MB GForce 5200 that might explain it

I should manage:

Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86Ghz overclocked to 3.2Ghz
2 GB DDR2-800 RAM Dual Channel
XFX Fatal1ty 8600GT 256mb

Won't completely kill it, but at least I will be able to play it.

Inst CRYSIS supposed to be DX10??? And isnt DX10 only for Vista???????
Doesnt make sense to me?

Glordit, I'd get a 8600GTS

:D thanks for the link you gave me! will try my best to get it!! otherwise IMO 8600GT is waaay better than a 6600, since I play most of my games at 1024x768 :( [small screen FTL]

Well, I think I should be able to run mine on medium...I hope :o

Core 2 Duo E6600 (2.4GHz)
2Gigs Corsair RAM
Sapphire Radeon X1800XT

but I hope that somebody out there wants to sponsor me with an 8800GTX :D

You're too kind ;)

Well looking at the comaprison posted on IGN from about Med - High - Ultra there is realy no noticle difference Low IMO kind of looks like Farcry but I think most High end Dx9 cards will be able to pump it out on Med/high pretty well :D
