hey guys,those of you who are looking for something else to play , how about we repopulate the SA crysis wars servers ? i just bought the game today !
 
Hey man

Long time no see, yip crysis wars is still going strong... download patch 1.5 and join us on the IS servers. we usually have a few people on at about 8 pm and once in a while have 15-25 players on a good night. We also have a skype chat going with about 30 odd guys and we keep in the loop as to when games are starting, etc. give me a shout if you want to join and i will add you.

Come on guys... surely there are more of you with crysis warhead sitting on a dusty shelf. We had 4 more newbies on last night and i reckon they had an absolute jol. I challenge anyone with a copy of crysis warhead to install wars (free with warhead) and join us online for some awesome FPS gaming. Every player I know of who has given the game a chance has told me they prefer it over COD anyday.

WHAT? And let people actually in on the joke that COD and CSS are shyte games? Shhh dude, lets not invite the masses to our little piece of paradise. :D

way I see it... COD keeps the less "valuable" players away from crysis :P and anyone still playing CSS is far too "L33T" to try a real game so don't stress.

Besides i hear the nano suits have been updated to ensure nobody with the smell of COD can play ;)

yip you right... very nasty indeed. so nasty infact that all COD players are too afraid of us to give the game a bash and see what we are talking about. :whistle:

Nope, you've got it wrong. It's because Crysis does not have noob perks that let you shoot through walls and crappy persistent ranks that let you pwn newcomers.

God forbid that they actually would need to work for their kills! ;)
 
I think once the COD guys tried Crysis and played with the rest of the SA guys on the IS Servers, they will forget that COD even exists! Go Rusty! I have a 17yr old son and 6 year old twin boys(most of the local Crysis guys have run into them on Crysis and even COD (in a moment of weakness). Even they got tired of COD since playing Crysis. Long live Crysis!

Well lol, that's a given. COD okes working for there kills is like me washing dishes... it just isn't gonna happen. Like I said COD keeps the less "valuable" players away from the awesomeness that is Crysis. :P
 
Sheesh, how was em games last night! Was shouting so hard here the rest of the house couldnt sleep. :)

Lets just say vander pwnd everyone. :P repeatedly.

What GPU you got penguin, i used to run crysis on an 8800GTS 320MB smoothly and I know someone running it on an ATI 4650. Even on low graphics crysis looks awesome if you can keep the res up.
 
WAHAHAHHAHAHHHAHA Corne you were scaring me last night - I've never heard you like that before. The past few nights have been unbelievable. I've also realised that I have just broken through 40,000 minutes of Crysis game time (woohoo) - and I'm still no where near bored with it. Awesome game.

Yeah it happens and lately crysis has really been livening up. More players, more action and a whole lot more fun!!! Really been having a jol this past week.

We need to keep getting new guys in, the main prob is people think the sys requirements are too high... after three years the sys requirements really are not that bad anymore and even entry level systems can handle crysis on reasonable settings now.

was chatting to corny and as you may well know we run the IS crysis servers. We were talking about perhaps converting one of the servers to dx 10 and then leaving the other as dx 9 instead of having one ps and one IA server. Then players can vote for maps using the voting system and will have a choice of dx 10 or 9.

What do you guys think, would this drive some more interest or is it a neither here nor there thing?

Some of the main features in DX 10 would be destructable content and full day night cycles incase you were wondering.
 
Hmm. I got a copy. Never played it. Maybe I will install it and give it a bash. Been jamming alot of MW2 lately and need a change of pace.
