he also gave me a url, so you can tell if you are connected to their apn or not

what phone you've got? do you still have the vodacom apn configured?
s7 edge. Vodacom apn is there but not selected (not possible to delete). I'm assuming I would be able to delete if I was rooted, but I guess it's hardly worth it.
can you edit it? i can't even edit it, to enter a crap apn...
Same on the V20. And yes, you need to root to delete the vodacom one.You can't. You can only add a new APN and select the newly made APN.

Connecting over 4G and accessing that http://apn.connectivity.is link tells me I am not connected to the IS shared APN's. Forcing phone to use 3G and it tells me I am connected via crystalmobile.

Confirm, but when I went back to 4G, I'm still on IS...wtfFigured it out.
