So I'm looking to move from Afrihost and I'm reading good things about Crystal Web.

While chatting to them on live chat they said they consider high usage at ~450 per month consistently. We mainly stream and since then don't really need to download. But I'm looking at my log over the last month and I've been hitting the 500+ mark.

Am I going to have a problem?

i am on Crystalweb not having any issues. But may be the difference of Fibre vs ADSL. i have constantly been able to utilize my line speed to its max no issues.

I know way too many people who've had issues with Telkom. Also sure their limit is much lower.

10Mbps ADSL on home premium uncapped.
Primarily streaming from Netflix and Showmax.

Average is about 400GB, and every now and again we do 500+. Never any issues. Solid ISP.

I have the telkom 4 meg uncapped package, if you can afford to use another ISP do it as its pretty bad. Gaming on the package is impossible and I have to use a second account to get goot pings.

Yep, I got the same promo package. Surprisingly it's the best connection I've had compared to the other ISPs (except Vox).

Also state your area, from what I've read, the issues are mostly isolated to certain areas.

I'm on Telkom promo and I have had nothing to complain about so far. Gaming, streaming, browsing. I think that KZN and Gauteng are good.

I am on a 20mb DSL line.
Using Crystal Web Xtreme Capped 250g.

I average between 500 and 600 Gb total usage a month, never had any issues with throttling from them.

I was with Telkom, after about 100-120Gb they started throttling the shyte out of the line.
