With my line this morning - it was OK to start with, got HD on Netflix in about 3.5 min, but it only stabalized after about 10 mins. I would expect it to go HD on a 10Mb line within a minute or two and STAY there.

Checking it now ( leaving it running in the background on some series with lots of episodes ), it has not reached HD on episode 2 after 45min of playing..... :-(
 
I find it strange for a support agent to ask for an account username and password as well
 
International HTTP downloads on CW at <20kB/s while on my connection account it runs at line speed. Hoping this week gets this resolved.
 
I guess by the middle of this month, or the third week, I will have enough stats to see if I am staying or going.

I can feel it in the seems of my jeans that I might have to go buy another 10GB prepaid data from Afrihost this month if I can't schedule all my downloads on the 50TB Web Africa Downloads plus promotion.

I averaged between 100 & 280GB, on a 2Mbps package (*from a ISP which we shall not speak the name, with a 4Mbps line. Included was 10GB WA and 1GB AH.

June I had 61GB from WA and 1GB from AH and still managed to do a total of 205GB. July I had 61,5GB from WA, 11GB from AH and still managed 36GB on my CW account with another 32GB on the IS temp account, yet it was not enough to get ahead on all.

Just saying. I am just getting it off my chest.

Use it. Don't use it. No punt intended.
 
Netflix, check, YouTube, check, XBMC, Oh yes check and Defiance is working. Ima staying. :D And most downloads comes down at line speed. Mostly steam stuff.
 
Still seeign the hectic packet loss. D3 unplayable :(

Day two report on my 10Mbps account.

Browsing is ok-ish(local is still beter than int)
NNTP hovering at 60-100KB/s (IS actually at45KB/s as I'm typing this) <--nothing changed.
Tested torrents and lolled so hard 10-20KB/s..
Videos on sites like escapist, gametrailers buffer endlessly <--nothing changed.
Youtube seems beter, but 480p & 720p streaming is useless now.
Playing games online is rubber banding on roids, tried POE PC(lag of 350ms with spikes of over 1000ms), Fifa14 PS3 unplayable, GTAV PS3 stuck in the menus, Wot PC(400+ms). Basically the same if a bit worse than yesterday.
Trying something like ace-stream for p2p streaming is dead, stuck at pre-buffering.

In a nut shell it got even worse!

And to be fair i tested my afrihost account again for a bit and all was well.
Im gona be really pissed off if i can stream my Arsenal vs Benfica game later today.
 
First day on Crystal Web and online gaming is unplayable. Afrihost 1gb is performing perfectly. Very disappointed :(

Ace stream is just a torrent client with a vlc front end...if torrents are dead 100% chance acestream wont work...just saying :P

Dunno if they still have shape restrictions on nntp and p2p(don't know how severe) but that youtube......im easily streaming 1080p with it going line speed easily.

Escapist i turned off my adblocker and it worked great seemless streaming.(getting 400kBps/700kBps throughput )

Only games im playing atm are d3 and WoW and both are getting between 160ms-with spikes up to 260ms

EDIT: to top it off i didn't even notice but i was downloading updates in the background as well

CW sent you guys a mail this morning about internet being dead. Still no response and internet still dead. Just sent follow up mail.
 
NNTP is crawling and gaming is still laggy :(. Can I have an IS account again please :D
