Guys it's simple, if you don't want to be a guinea pig, find a different ISP.

I can afford to cut CW some slack, but the slack is running out

What are you saying: We can't have a opinion and should rather leave?

All my downloads are via Nzbs . Getting around 100kb/s on 10mb line. Normally I get line speed so I know it's on CWs side.
Edit : Bloody autocorrect

I think this was around the time I was on a lot of painkillers, so probably :)
There's about a 70% chance they are gonna charge you for the IS account(well unless you are forced to use one this month again....not looking unlikely)
Full price, full expectation.

Anyway...will re-evaluate next weekend.
uhm actually no AUP/FUP which they'll have by launch......so you are infact getting a bonus for the trouble they put you through for "beta testing"

You have the right to complain. but this is still prelauch so, expect problems for awhile...they'll sort it out before launch.

Yeah got back to PC - NNTP running at 100kb/s on a 2MB line. Seems to be a throttle of some sorts?
D3 latency still messed up, 400 to 1300ms in TOWN.

OMB: STFU GTFO...

I see another OW in the making.
take that back...comparing anything to OW conartists is just slander....nothing can get that bad :P
also havoc i downloaded 450gb+ last month on a 4mb line that's why im saying it is a bonus :P

There's about a 100% chance I would very quickly drop them if they did that! The accounts were supposed to be disabled at midnight, July 31st.
Anyways, it wasn't intentional. I suppose I should have picked up on it sooner, what with the perfect latencies and all.

I had this fear right from the very start, when Cybersmart was announced as the backbone for the ISP. Having experienced very bad gaming latency from those clowns a few years back, you can understand my trepidation when it comes to anything remotely involving them. I hugely suspect that these latency woes stem from that backbone, which is somewhat proven by countless tests and comparative testing using other ISPs.

Here is a pathping to CrystalWeb's site, where you will see 99% packet loss on the second hop.

I will now switch to a free GB and do the same test.

I wouldn't get too stressed about 100% made up statistics. They've been very, very lenient on the backup accounts in the past, as DJ has acknowledged that they were only required due to issues with their network.

I doubt that :) Unless DJ and Keoma are the same person.

Nothing to take back. That is what will happen if we apply OMB's approach which is appalling TBH.

Any form dictatorship, censorship or reply policing is wrong.

I am actually very puzzled by the IS account still working but it is something that depends on dealing with provider partners - and therefore working hours

This weekend has been really odd in terms of performance. We haven't been appraised of any changes to ETAs or of a major problem and consequently are dependent on hard data - and we need to sort out individual case anomalies, so please feedback is great - we prefer emails to support with some data on them but we really do, within some of the constraints that commercial agreements and relationships create, strive to be transparent.

Mine stopped worked as promised. However I wonder if this is not session related, because when I authenticated with the CW the IS went dark. Unless something else is amiss :(

I'll pop in a few tests results tomorrow night. Its just not going to happen now with prep for tomorrow.
