Don't think ISPs can tell what type of traffic your using on certain VPNs

We aren't specifically shaping VPNs but I suspect that a packet problem will creep in if you are using certain VPN systems and they traverse an international link. Please drop as comprehensive a ticket as possible to support.

Packet headers can reveal a lot. And no, the actual data on the vpn they cannot determine(well they can technically if they really wanted to), but they did say they will shape VPN traffic as a whole if it seems you are trying to use it to bypass shaping protocols, which I am not, I am just constantly on a VPN.
 
Packet headers will reveal nothing about traffic tunneled down a VPN.

Yes, it won't, as stated in my previous post, but my concern is not with the traffic, I just don't want them shaping my VPN because it looks like I am using it for downloading, because high amount of traffic is detected.
 
I am using my backup WebAfrica prepaid unshaped account to download my Xperia images.

@CW I know it is impossible to give a time frame, but this month is nearly gone and I was wondering, how much longer are we going to have this issue? What I am really asking is, can we look forward to another month of heavy shaping on http downloads?
 
new chat system needs work, the chat window closes if you click out of the box.
 
Hi, i am unable to get my internet working.

Inserted the username and password but my router light stay's red. I have never been able to use the account and havent had feedback on my ticket since last week.

Last feedback i got was that it was an authentication issue? Still?
 
Had to double check I wasn't using a backup connection justnow - reinstalling D3 and it's downloading itself at line speed :D
 
Day 2
My Wildstar is performing decently again using the CW account. 294ms average latency, 197ms average ping.

I have yet to test it on one of the public events, I will try give that a bash this evening. That will be the real deal when it comes to if the problem is sorted out for good. Other than that, I am extremely happy that I have not had to log in to my router and swap accounts for 2 days :)
 
have to download World of Tanks again.... 7GB of torrents :/
 
Trying to Download a game on my PS4....not at line speed, not at all. and it is a 38 Gb download.
 
I was waiting for the Mybb page to load, after a while I hit refresh 2 or 3 times until I noticed the page loaded in 1 second. Egg on my face lol. Good work guys.
 
My Defiance Game sucks though. Please guys, I know I am the only guy on Crystal Web playing Defiance, but please fix it so I can also enjoy my connection to the fullest. It is a free to play game. PRETTY PLEASE.
