Right, so L5 is pretty much a corporate grade license, but not quite enterprise grade then....

Right, that kind of makes up my mind then I think...

Wireless client. Yay. Win. That means I'll be able to use a mifi as a fail over :-D

Going to use the USB port for "cache" of some form...
Or apparently can use a 3G modem with it.. so might look at that as an option...

What do you guys use for surge protection? We go through a couple of routers a year..I would love to add a RB to my network but I am not prepared to replace a router + RB each time the lightning hits the Telkom infrastructure nearby..

I live in a dip so luckily nothing like that for me. but you do get these ellis plugs I think, forgot their name now.

Not the wifi one?

Order #27873 has been shipped. Type of shipping with: UPS World Wide Saver.

Nah, wanted RackMount equipment to keep my study nice and neat... I have 2 APs in the Ceiling at each end of the house.

I'm going to put surge protectors on all that kit, but I'm also contemplating putting lightning rods on either end of the house as well just as an "in case"... but I also live in the bottom of a valley effectively so the Telkom infrastructure is mostly protected.
