CrystalWeb going bankrupt / openserve lines being held ransom?

I think this requires SLA'd connectivity, and Afrihost doesn't do SLAs. Very few ISPs do, AFAIK. I'll help him out any way I can, but that's 20 outages affecting thousands of people.

So, ask him why he is using CW? Did he bother to discuss what options would be available to him with TENET?
Unbelievable, the things local IT Managers get up to ........
And then to just sit back and wait ......... Even crazier!

And yes, and an SLA should be in place! How can you leave students in a situation like this ?? Especially at this time of the year.
 
Don't mean to bump and old thread but, I have a problem with CW atm.

I was paying R265 for the 4mbps uncapped when it was priced as R255 and my payment history for the year shows that.

With CW it showed I was owed R74.26 but after it changed to Evonet they say I owe them the same amount and have tried to tell them to check my payment history and see I have been paying R10 more for the package ever since CW lowered it from R265 to R255.

Now what if I try cancel my ADSL and they refuse because I don't want to pay the R74.26? Could I just leave the account and not use it until they block it for non payment and ignore their invoices after telling them I will be canceling?
