CS:GO Lower Ranks MM Waiting Time.

My cousin started playing CS recently and because he is still young he isn't the best at the game. (Silver 2) Yesterday he told me he thinks his computer is broken because he cant find a match:crylaugh:. I logged in on his account and selected comp MM with 8 Maps selected. My acc is MG2 so it takes about 30 seconds to find a match. I started searching and after 10 min I cancelled and researched. After 20 min I was triggered so I logged into my acc and guess what? 15 Seconds later I found a match. I logged into his acc again and searched one last time. After 20 min I got into bed and watched Twich on my tv. I have a wireless headset so I would hear the game sound. I fell asleep.. Thunder woke me up at 3 am. I realized that I was still streaming Twitch and went to my PC to turn it off. I could not believe my eyes. 181 minutes. I was in the queue for One Hundred and Eighty One minuets. Any ideas why? He isn't too impressed with CS because of this issue. Any help is appreciated.

Are you signed up to prime?
Lower ranks have large player base so you should find a game pretty quick. try joining a lobby with friends.
As a Nova I never wait more than 4 min and when I play with my MG mates its sometimes 7 or 8 min.

Also there is no cousin you smurf!
