Does anyone miss CS:GO here or am I the only one.

Same situation with Battlefield 3/4 vs 2048.

Idk if it's just me but it seems like the 'modern' titles all have this plastic, high bloom look to them. They look and play differently that's for sure.

The map redesign alone is better. Mechanically, the game is a bit closer to Source without the old animations. I am not into the skin business. The state in which the title is in, is unchanged.

Faster paced in competitive mode. I think this was by design. Casual players can now also more easily transition to the competitive mode. Source...

For as much as 'high bloom' goes, it's more a visibility thing. It has more to do with higher contrast. Add skins, add gimmicks. It sells.

In the end, it is the pro players driving the game's direction. Valve has silently said no to many things some players want.

Resource-wise, the game runs better on every machine as old as 2016.

Every generation of players complains when a new CS is released. When Source came out we wanted 1.6 back. In the end, people just don’t like change.
