CSGO Rankings Not Showing

So my housemate just came to me crying that his CSGO rank is gone after winning many competitive games tonight. So we checked my CSGO and I am experiencing the same problem. My rank is not showing in the main menu, and when I check out the CSGO profiles of my friends their ranks are missing as well. What is this about? A bug I hope.

Its worldwide issue, some players have ranks other dont, mine just came back, but I could still not see everyone's rank in game.

Lot of speculation on Reddit though....

Well my last game which I could actually play was just after 22:00 last night. That was when my rank showed again. Anyone know if it's fixed for real now? I was so much looking forward to play CS:GO on my off day yesterday but that turned to shyte quickly
